Nothing recent.

Its been speculated that FASA didnt like the direction Microsoft took the series, and after MW4 and the expansions the two companies didnt get along. So remaking the game from scratch or making new ones might not happen soon.
I think FASA should just license out the franchise dirt cheap to anyone who wants it. Whoever makes the best game gets all contracts from that point onward.

Wish Lucasarts would do the same thing with their X-Wing series.
 
fasa's been long gone and when they went under the computer division was bought by MS. I remember some vague mention in the other thread or an article linked in it that the delay may be rights related.
