meatless hamburgers

Any body out in Ananadtech land try any of those meatless hamburgers (veggieburgers) I havn't been brave enough yet.

The Morningstar Farms Grillers Prime aren't bad, and are very convenient for a quick lunch since they're microwaveable.

I've eaten quite a few of them. The only way they resemble hamburgers is to throw a slice of Fat Free American cheese on top while you grill them and then cover them with everything else you'd put on a burger. Then eat it REALLY fast....

Maybe slide a beef patty in there too. THEN it'll taste just like a real hamburger.

i don't get the point of imitation meat... they usually don't taste good at all. theres so much good vegetarian stuff out there why would you want one of those awful things?

gardenburgers are good... They don't try to be meat, which is probably why they don't taste bad. I actually BBQed with Gardenburgers once.

They are terrible if you think of them as a meatless substitute for hamburgers.
If you think of them as vegetable patties, you won't be so surprised when they taste nothing like real burgers. I like them a lot.

although i have given a garden burger a try, and it wasn't bad. mind you it wasn't anything like a good burger though...
