I have an old pressure washer Ex-Cell model 1502cvbs.
http://www.ppe-pressure-washer-parts.com/devilbiss-pressure-washer-1502cvbs-1-pressure-washer-parts

I bought a replacement wand for it but the adapters that come with it don't fit the hose. The hose end that connects to the gun is female. The wand connector is female also. The male-male adapter included is too big to fit into the hose end. the other adapter is quick-disconnect which my hose is not.

The hose on the pressure washer that connects to the wand is H040.

My hose isn't exactly like this but its pretty close.

The original wand is H128.

My wand is not exactly like this either but pretty close.

The new wand is this:http://www.amazon.com/Apache-9902380...pache+pressure

I figure I need an adapter so I went out and tried to measure the hose and wand attachments but I am getting different measurements there than what is listed. Maybe I am doing something wrong? I measured inside and outside diameters.

I think this might be what I need: http://www.amazon.com/Reducer-Reduci...2+male+adapter

dont put any aluminum parts on it if you plan to use bleach in it. Father-in-law found out about that when the aluminum bolts failed on his after using bleach to wash his house a few times. Sounded like a 9mm going off. never found the bolts either.

Can you bone fittings off of the old wand?

It looks like you either need a 14mm to 22mm adapter, then use the fittings sent with the new sprayer, or a 14mm to 3/8"npt.

The connector on the old wand is built into the wand, no way to separate it.

the new wand is 3/8" and the old hose is 14mm from what I understand. 22mm would be way too big to use with the wand. 3/8" is only like 9mm.

It sounds like I need a 14mm to 3/8" adapter but I am having a difficult time finding one.

now the new wand connector adapter is a bit bigger than the hose, so I'm not sure how the hose can be 14mm and the wand adapter be 9mm?

this is what is f-ing confusing me. unless the specs are wrong on the hose and it's not 14mm.

The new sprayer you bought says it comes with a 3/8" to 22mm adapter, so the if the hose is indeed 14mm, then you just need to adapt it: 14mm to 22 mm adapter.
If you want to avoid using two adapter, then you need a 14 mm to 3/8". The alternative is of course to get a new hose.

I don't see where it says 22mm to 3/8 adapter, although 22mm might be the connector size on the wand itself.

I had to replace a fitting on a pressure washer once and it was a nightmare. Maybe try going to an industrial supply store that specializes in hydraulics? Or at least a store that sells pressure washers and isn't a big box.

Here's what I got for measurements using calipers:

Wand - outside - 22mm
Wand - inside - 14.93mm

Hose - outside - 17.96mm
hose - inside - 11.36mm

included male to male threaded adapter: the larger end is 21.67mm and the smaller end s 16.33mm

So the connector on the wand is 22mm. so the adapter goes from 22mm to 3/8" according to my measurements and what the packaging says.

Be sure to use Imperial Metric units when measuring. Nobody uses the other ones.

See, it's at this point that I would just buy a new pressure washer.

, well apparently I need a 3/8 adapter to the 1/4 inch. The 1/4 inch works fine for the hose but the wand must be 3/8
