Subsidiary of Dupont Warehouse fire burns for four days. State isn't clear what's in the facility they thinks it could be Carbon black, Titanium dioxide, Fiberglass, Maleic Anhydride TLV 0.1 ppm, Formaldehyde, PTFE (Teflon), Styrene, Acrylonitrile, Polybutylene Terephthalate, and/or Acrylic Sheet trichloroethylene, lead, ethylbenzene, and toluene. There has has not been much in the news about this but with Environmental regulations being gutted and WVs history it's not surprising.

A fire has been burning at a warehouse that’s become a dump for things Dupont can’t legally get rid of for more than 4 days in Parkersburg, WV. http://www.anongroup.org/massive-fire-parkersburg/ More pictures in link.

These are the things we should be really worried about.

agreed. Why nothing for the last 4 days? Why the directed gutting of EPA and environmental regulations to prevent these issues, let alone address them promptly when they occur? Why not actively address the issues that we should actually be worried about?

Meaning you think there should be even less regulations?

Thanks for highlighting why this will never become a major topic of discussion. I'm sure you are more worried about Richard Spencer and his handful of flunkies showing up somewhere than the piles of toxic crap all over the place. If Antifa and BLM devoted half their energy into complaining about the environment, real change for everyone could occur. Toxic waste fires and crap in our water supply, no big deal but OMG I think I see a statue somewhere.

Couldn't happen to more deserving state or company. DuPont is an environmental disaster of a company that is run by child molesters and the state of West Virginia is probably the worst state in the nation. Yes, even worse than Florida.

Seriously, the states been owned by big coal since forever.
It's like Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Mississippi to a certain extent have been owned by big oil since forever.

IEI is not owned nor a subsidiary of DuPont. IEI did purchase materials from DuPont and other companies. Evidently, IEI warehouse in Parkerburg has been a serious problem for sometime.

WV media covered the fire extensively.

This has nothing to do with any EPA regulations.

IEI should be investigated and held accountable if found to be acting contrary to State, Local and Federal laws/regulations.

that is not anti-fascists' cause. their cause is to limit fascism, so that's what they do.

Why are you arguing that the firemen should stop caring about fires and instead focus on crime, doing the jobs of the police, because that is the problem that you care about? This is childish.

and lol at the rest of your comment: you likely support Scott Pruitt and the gutting of the EPA, yet claim that you care about toxic fires and your water quality. You kids are so fucking gaslighted.

From the article: IEI, who owns the building is a shell company owned by Dupont.

I don't live in WV

Who said the EPA?

Here's the problem: the same President and party that try to defend Confederate statues are the same President and party gutting genuinely useful environmental regulations. So either way, the only ethical thing you can do is to oppose Trump and the Republicans at every turn. Will you do this?

So the anti-fascists should become environmental activists? And then everything would be good? What if all you low iq low edu white people actually voted with intelligence?

Now that it's all burned up it's mother nature's problem, not the company who had all that stuff in the first place. It's good to coat your lungs in plastic isn't it?

The article is not accurate. There are numerous local media reports that indicate this.

You referenced environmental regulations being "gutted". That falls generally within the purview of the EPA. If you are referring to a different Federal agency, then please clarify.

Fires like that (large) happen every day. Unless one happens in a major metro area or has casualty effects, the likelihood of the event being picked up on national media is small.

I care far more about the environment then Spencer. But you need to look at which side is pro environmental regulations and which side is currently trying to eliminate all environmental regulations.

If you care deeply about the environment, you'll probably have to stop voting strictly based on social wedge issues. But right now, the environment is under massive attack by the people you voted for.

Stewart said crews on the scene are finding some of the same problems they were worried about in 2008, such as unlabeled containers of material stored at the warehouse.

I missed the part where Antifa members are actually employed to beat up Nazis or stop fascism? I hope they get benefits and have a union too. First responders are legitimately sanctioned individuals, and so why would you compare Antifa's job(?) to the police or firemen? I guess you could say that Antifa and other groups are social activists. Ensuring clean water, food, and air should help tons more people from being harmed than anything Richard Spencer and his gang of morons could muster.

You utterly refuse to make or understand a single fucking cogent argument.
