No, they are not over it. They refer to it as "their most recent unpleasantness"

I still don't think anyone has surpassed my situation yet. Although the gay thing at the beginning was a bit unsettling, lol!!!

Not technically "inlaws", but my ex-girlfriend's bitter mother was quite a piece of work. She used to constantly tell my GF that I was a cheater, I'm cheating on her, he's good-looking....he's a cheater. My GF would sit there all day and listen to it, then she'd start to believe it. So you can imagine how hard it made things on us. Still, we dated for over a year.

When we broke up, her mother found out that we had consumated the relationship. So immediately, she proclaimed that I had "stolen" the big V, among other things.

Then to top it off, she tells my ex "you should have s*****d his d*** more, then you could have kept him". :Q

not exactly marriage, however when me and my now ex-fiancee were at dinner one night with her 'family', I annouced that we were getting an apartment (she was 24) together.

He backhanded her out of her chair and he and I proceeded to destroy his house as he attempted to strangle me as I blocked his moves ... there was police and him almost getting arrested for saying to the cop and then trying to push him out something like 'I figured you porch monkies would agree, you'd F$$k a watermelon if it had t1t$'

She had a black eye yet 6 months later she still took his advice and royally screwed me financially.
