Yes I did, Celestron 8" SCT (2032mm focal length, 203mm aperture, f/10) Fuji S602z digicam (3 megapixel sensor but 6 megapixel interpolated) 40mm maxview eyepiece using eyepiece projection, this time I decided to zoom out with the cam though to get a bit sharper pic, not to mention I had the tracking on so it was more stable than the previous pics I took.

Thanks I think i'm gettin a little better at it. The other pics were going too far in magnification and i didn't have the scope's tracking on unlike this time around.

The core of the moon might be similar to the earth's with some iron, the moon has a magenetic field also but it's much weaker than the earth's. Also there's no volcanic activity so I think it's probably cooled by now unlike the earth's molten core.

Don't take my word for it though that's just some of what I read on it.
