AT and it's culture especially with the use of the symbolic emoticns and corresponding language will in fact make it into Official things like Webster or whatever culture documentary type history things out there.

I don't think so. The :cookie: was needed for a particular purpose. You may not know what that purpose is right now and you are actually better off not knowing why it was needed. 😀
