Me Bonehead! My firearm stolen today.

Got called in for Jury Duty this morning, and went through the selection process. Was not selected, they only needed four jurors, and called up 25 of us to pick from. At any rate, I went back to my vehicle, to find my firearm missing from the center console. It would have been on my person, concealed, but firearms aren't allowed (even concealed) in the courthouse.

Only thing I could figure was that I had forgotten to lock my door. I had locked it FOR SURE when I went into court initially, but they gave me a parking pass and instructed me to put it on my dashboard, as to avoid parking fees and/or a ticket. I ran out and placed it, and then ran back inside. In my haste (running two blocks in the 19 degree cold this morning), I must have forgotten to lock it.

My own fault. I was reckless and lost my firearm. Filed a report with the police, and they have entered it into the big "database" for if it turns up or is used in a crime, at least I won't be attached to it. Anyhow, it was my favorite little pistol for carry, Taurus 9mm Millennium Pro -- Titanium slide, so it was super light.. Anyhow, hope you all have a good week and a Merry Christmas. And if you ain't Christian, well too bad -- Merry Christmas anyhow!

I'd say he normally carries it around, but because it was jury duty, he couldn't bring it inside and left it in the vehicle.

We drag a working tire around with us JUST IN CASE one goes bad, and we get stuck. I carry a firearm for JUST IN CASE one person goes bad on me, and I get stuck.

If I'm in a situation where a person is able and wanting to take my life, I will go home that night. _I_ will be the one to go home.

I have 3 kids and a wife. I carry for THEM as well as myself.

Technically, with that analogy, you should be carrying two guns. One would be just in case the other doesn't work.
 
You make the claim that you carry a firearm because you feel it is your responsibility...yet you are not even responsible enough to take care of it😕

Courthouses have a place to leave your weapon with the receptionist at the door... even the police have to leave their guns there and cant carry them into court.
