There is a casino there. You can book a room at the Sheraton Fallsview for 200 Canadian bucks that has a hot tub and a view of the falls. I'd fly into Buffalo then drive to the Falls (its about 45 minutes). Toronto is a little more than an hour from Niagara, but the road there is not for the faint of heart. Its the QEW and people drive like maniacs on it.

my suggestion... go to the thousand islands. it's close and it's pictureque. i think i'll be pretty romatic for both of you two.

Check out the freedom trail, big dig, science museum, faneuil hall, and so on. We like to stay at the Hampton inn about 15 minutes north of the city as it's cheaper and safer.
Might not hurt to stop in Providence, RI. Nice zoo there.
