Me and Backup Utilities

Does Me come with a backup utility? If so, how do you get to it? I have had no luck finding it.

It comes with System Restore, which royally sucks. Im not sure how to get to it because I've never used it, so I can't help sorry.

I ran the old windows 98 backup utility in ME for a while. So that's an option if you need it.

Shouldn't it be Backup Utilites and I??? Proper english my son, proper english....

But anyways, to the problem, I've never had any kind of problem with the System Restore option in WinME. It does exactly what it's supposed to, and I beleive most people say it sucks because they don't fully understand what it does before they use it.

I'm going to have to agree with WC Charlie here......most people are simply so biased against MS they just figure everything they do &quot;sucks&quot;! In reallity, most of ME is very good, registry protection, and the new system restore. ME is also much more stable in most cases than Win98SE. Yes, there is also a good deal of &quot;Bloatware&quot;.....but, even the Linux distros are getting this way...(i.e. mandrake full 7.2!)

System restore has twice got me out of the brown sticky stuff, its a great backup device. Just make a restore point before you do any major chages to Windows and if it all goes wrong then it's easy to go back.
PS it's in system tools, if it's not there go to add remove programes,Windows setup and selrct it. I'm sure it's installed by default.
