My lights are still up. I had in fact forgotten about them. I will take them down by summer most likely.

When he said he'd come over and shovel your driveway then you should reply "if you did that, then I'd be in my rights to shoot you."

let me guess.. you think you're better than your neighbor, and therefore can pass judgment on how they want to raise their kids?

The whole neighborhood hates this family. We call them "The Perfects" because they have to put on this image. You don't know what you're talking about.

Also, people that say they will set overly strict rules for kids generally do not have kids. It's an internet rule.

We had a bunch of snow Friday night/Sat. morning, and I was lazy and didn't shovel my driveway or sidewalk yesterday.

I went out and did it today, and as my neighbor was pulling out of his driveway said in a snotty voice "I wondered what happened over there! I was about to come shovel that for you!"

I shouted back "I was going to do this yesterday, but all of those Christmas lights I took down LAST MONTH were on top of my snow shovel!"

The neighbor shook his head and drove away at his usual 13 MPH.

(He still has his lights up....and it's Feb 7th)
You don't work for the post office, do you? I would hate to pick up the newspaper tomorrow and find out that a postal worker went berserk and threw letters at his co-workers.

Why didn't you just lift off those oh so heavy christmas lights off of your shovel? You are, afterall, 6'4".

When you have kids (I can tell), let me know how well you do with keeping your kids from watching any entertainment on TV.

Next time you should just whip it out and challenge him to a dick measuring contest.

I've always wanted to go up to someone's house that still has their Christmas lights still up and start singing Christmas carols on their front porch.

+10 for Fritzo

Let me get this straight, the neighbor with the nice house and who is in great shape is the one who is a loser?

Sure glad I don't live in Backasswardville.

If that was it, no, he would be really cool. But imagine The Situation from Jersey Shore, only 5'4" with a kid. That's pretty much this guy. He's so douchey that his breath smells like vinegar.
