McRib is back

No McRibs here in the Bronx. Their new Angus Triple Pounders aren't too shabby. Man..I haven't had a McRib in over a decade.
 
So Wiki says the Third Farewell Tour is scheduled to start at the end of this month. So some places are likely starting to sell. And says some areas in Ohio. Hmm, I'm in the middle of Ohio. Wonder if I'll have any luck. I don't go to McD's that often since I would actually have to pay money for that food, versus campus food being free on my room & board... so. Isn't that funny, a place with a dollar menu I'd rather not go to because it's still money? lmao
Whenever I go out shopping at Target or something and am driving, I tend to stop at McD's and grab a couple sammiches and a shake. Will have to stop there this weekend and see if the boneless pigs have been slaughtered yet.

Angus Third Pounders....can't say it looked like that when I ordered it 🙂

Angus Third Pounders are currently being offered in Southern California, Columbus and the New York metro area. There are three sandwiches; the Angus Deluxe (American cheese, sliced red onions and sliced red tomatoes, iceberg lettuce, pickles, mustard, and mayonnaise); Angus Mushroom and Swiss (sauteed mushrooms, Swiss cheese and mayonnaise); and Angus Bacon and Cheese (bacon, American cheese, sliced red onions, mustard, ketchup and pickles).

This one was in midtown Atlanta. My roommate was driving home when he saw the sign, immediately pulled in and bought four McRib sandwiches.

Look good in the pic... I'll have to wait until they get here and try one.

Hard to give up the standard Big Mac though... which is what I usually get on the rare occaision we go there for dinner.
 
After working at McDonalds for 2 years as a teen I'd just like to LOL @ anyone that eats these things. If only you knew...

I don't want to know. I want to taste the pure heaven that is McRib. It's the perfect taste and food. I want it. Give it to me.

It's the perfect combination of pork meat, BBQ sauce and the pickles/onions. It's perfect. The only thing better is a real chopped BBQ sammich.

The McRib really is that special.
 
Last time people started posting McRib return threads, it was a good month or more before they finally showed up here.
I'll start checking tomorrow.
 
Damn you AT. Damn you to HELL!

I drove to Mickey D's after Spidey's post reminded me of how delicious these sweet, sweet sandwiches are to no avail. Nada here in Irvine. Been choking in smoke the last 3 days...throw me a bone will yah!!!!!

 
It's supposed to be here in north Alabama (saw a billboard for it), but when I went to Mickey D's they said they were sold out.
