A fine example of answering your own question.

I am a huge Ravens fan, and have been wishing for the day that Boller would be out of there. I had a glimmer of hope when they drafter Troy Smith, but he doesnt have enough experience, he didnt get enough time to showcase his (supposed) ability.

Im sure we will get Flacco or Henne. I dont see Ryan falling to us.

As a Ravens fan, I was happy to hear the news. Unfortunately we don't have anyone better to replace him, so I was also sad to hear the news. Drafting a QB is never a great solution because that means you are rebuilding. The defense is getting old, but still has a few good seasons left in them, so I expect us to look into picking up another free agent QB. We should just draft a late round QB and hope it pans out. Oh wait we did that a few years back with Derek Anderson. I'm going to go cry now....

Boller and Smith both have talent. I think Boller had a bit more of an opportunity last year than Troy to showcase it. Many Ravens fans thought Smith looked very good when he was given the playing time. Seemed to be something wrong with Billick that he didn't give him more playing time IMO.

Might as well. It's not like he's done a damn thing the past couple seasons.

Edit: Except get the shit kicked out of him.

god damn it, now this means Kyle Boller is going to start....again

Hopefully they draft a QB or we let Troy Smith take over

I'm really hoping they start Troy Smith. I like Boller, but he's just had too many chances.

Yup, He's a good backup. But he's not/never was starter material. Troy Smith looked promising last year, but I dont think he's a long term solution either.

Maybe Favre will come back to be his replacement!

If he did that, he'd have to be constantly on the look out for car bombs filled with Wisconsin cheddar.
I would expect more of a "Squeeze Cheese" Pipe Bomb or Mortar.

Top 3 "available" quarterbacks:

1. AJ Feely - Yeah, he's not good, but he's not bad, and you know what you're getting.
2. Daunte Culpepper - Free agent, big upside.
3. Trent Dilfer - free agent, last one to take the Ravens to the Superbowl.
