I'm still very meh on the MP4-12C and the Ferrari 458. I hope Lamborghini's new rides are much more... aggressive. I understand the shape is due to aerodynamic necessity, but I'm getting tired of all the supercars slowly converging on a single shape.

Very technological car...

Standard composite brake system of forged aluminium and cast iron is lighter than the optional carbon-ceramic brake system, saving five kilos :D

200 – 0 km/h under 5 sec
100 – 0 km/h under 3 sec / 30m
Impressive

The Airbrake increases downforce and therefore grip at speed and moves the centre of pressure rearwards under heavy braking

Ah that would be why...

Hexagonal aluminium wiring saves four kilos over circular wiring. o_O

Hexagonal wiring is a little tighter for the same resistance, but they couldn't possibly have saved 4kg just from less jacketing. Maybe they meant circular copper wire.

Hmm, I think I do love that color. A rich wine and I don't even like wine, but that just speaks of class and wealth.

lol I was looking at my screen shot on some crappy monitor and it looked purple. I like the dark red type of look which I hope all of you guys see.

The looks of this car are nice...but not particularly "unique" ... but I really could give a flying fuck...this thing is a tremendous technological wonder. It's pretty much awesomeness personified. In a lot of ways, it is the opposite "supercar" of something like the Veyron. The Bugatti took the brute approach and it appears McLaren took the finesse approach to engineering. If I were a rich guy...this would likely be high on my list if it drives to the level that they promise.
