MCE installation problem

I just reinstalled MCE on my bro's new HP laptop because he was having some problems with it (it came with MCE). It works great, except the MCE link for the program is non-existant. Any ideas?

What do you mean? The shortcut is missing? Just make another shortcut. Is there more to it than that? If you click on the green button your remote, does it load up MCE?
