Pico Guacamole with Artisan Grilled Chicken:
https://www.mcdonalds.com/us/en-us/...grilled-chicken-sandwich-on-artisan-roll.html

there was a promo with the app.
buy anything that costs over $1, get a free sandwich from a list.

I never had their Artisan sandwiches before so I chose the grilled chicken (as opposed to the crispy version).

tasted fine but looked awful. :(
Similar to what mine's looked like: https://i.ytimg.com/vi/nPvzbjc54jQ/hqdefault.jpg

if theres another promo like this, i'll probably just get the old standby of Quarter pounder with cheese.

I got that but with beef. It was alright. I'd get it again, but I'm not in a hurry.

What was that awesome movie called where this guy had enough of life's bullshit and the cover of the movie is him holding a briefcase and a shotgun?
Falling Down. A great feel-good movie, perhaps only surpassed by God Bless America

Just ordered it 1/2 hour ago. I would order the buttermilk chicken if I have to order again

Getting sick of everything getting labeled artisan or craft. Sandwich shop near work started selling 'craft' soda. It's literally coke in a mason jar with a silly foil lid, the difference is that it's $5.50 instead of $1 for it in a can as far as I can tell.

It's like that with all the copy cats. Have you ever noticed one restaurant will come out with a spicy checken and all of a sudden the rest will follow with a spicy something or other. Take for example the last trend of sriracha crap. Even a popular weight loss company has a sriracha platter on the menu and advertised it.

Popularism makes a lot of money. Just ask Adidas, Nike, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hillfinger, Billobon, Quicksilver, etc, etc, etc, ad nauseam.

Artisanal salad - made with fake balsamic vinegar and over-sized croutons, $14
Artisanal mining - children separating gold by swishing mud and mercury together with their bare hands

The buy $1 and get a free sandwich offer is once per week until the promotion ends. You can also create multiple accounts to do it more often. I've been getting the pico guacamole grilled chicken with sesame roll and holding the ranch sauce for a relatively healthy ~430 calorie lunch.

Had it with crispy chicken, it was ok. Hardly any guac, tasted alright, but nothing extraordinary. It's good if you're tired of standard McD fair and someone decides that's where lunch will be.

KMFJD posted a pic of a real good chicken burger.

meh on healthy.. I get best value.

out of all the choices for $1 sandwich, I think the double quarter pounder fits that description
