You misunderstood my statement. I was not saying it was a good idea (it obviously wasn't), I was merely pointing out that people still use the one button mouse as a reason against Macs today. To tell you the truth, I don't even use the right button that often when I'm in OS X with my Logitech mouse. Keyboard commands are more efficient IMO.
It's funny how people get so worked up over OS's and hardware companies
I've never seen a version of windows os that shipped with virus, it's the stupid users that put them there. Users which, btw, have some migrated to macs because they really shouldn't be on windows. Kinda like the people you see on the street and think "they shouldn't really be by themselves". Some of those people wised up and stopped doing stupid things, they stayed.why don't macs have viruses? how do i enable this feature like on windows?
That's right, they need years of education to write their own wireless drivers.
No, I understood you exactly. You were defending it as if it weren't a bad idea. Just because you don't specifically state it was a good idea doesn't mean you weren't saying it wasn't a bad idea, which it obviously was. You were defending an indefensible gaff on Apples part, which is the typical brainwashed behavior I mentioned earlier.
And... there is more to the right click button than copy/paste. I use keyboard shortcuts for many, many things (love them), but there are a few things that it doesn't work for and/or the keyboard shortcuts actually make for more work than just using the right click.
I honestly don't give a crap what other people use. I love my iPod (haven't run across an mp3 player I like better), and I think Mac is a quality product... just not at those outrageous prices. The only extras people get from Apple's ridiculous pricing is a sleek case and a case of arrogance and smugness that's impervious to reason or sense.
I thought Appleites were vegetarian tree hugging greenies, WTF are they doing at mcdonalds?
To continue to derail the thread....why the hate for Office for Mac 2011? I use it for school and havent had too many problems with it, aside from the interface being slightly different.

for the mac people, I'm going to try and explain the virus/security issue in simple, "Logitech" terms (photo instructions)
This is Apple's security protocol:

This is Windows:

let me know if you need further explanation.
Yeesh, why are they assuming windows users have static IP's, but MAC's don't?
is there going to be a new season of river monsters?
The next season (4th), should premiere sometime in Spring 2012. In the meantime, I highly suggest checking out Monster Fish and Hooked on the National Geographic channel. Each have a slightly different angle on the subject, but if you enjoy River Monsters I highly recommend checking out the others I mentioned.
it's Mac, not MAC.
if you're going to try and act like you know what you're talking about, at least do it right.
Thx, i'll check it out!!!
Being a douche is certainly bolstering your Mac > PC argument.

Oh, my bad. You got me. lol...whatever.
Out of curiosity what did you think MAC was an acronym of?
