These things are sensationally awful. They're overcooked and under sized and they taste like shit. You're better off eating the fake-meat nuggets.

Last time I was at EarthFare they had whole chickens for $0.99/lb. Kept the carcasses for stock. :thumbsup:

I'm going to assume you are using primordial sea salt? While cooking, you make sure to magnetize the tub and arrange the wings to point north, right? I don't even have to ask if those buffaloes are only eating Kentucky Fescue, but I wonder if you are remembering to jazzercise them every other day to make sure the frothiness of the sauce is kept in check?

I know it is rough to prepare such an exquisite dish, but like you, I can't enjoy my wings without celery grown in soil sprinkled with the blood of people who trusted me.

Yeah, I never understood the wings love. Wings were the part sold to those that bought fat back, pig's tails, pig's feet....

I do get that they make decent bar food nibbles, but for a meal? Too much work for what you end up getting. Drumsticks, thighs, breasts.....now those are the parts that are worth eating. At least you get more meat than bone and skin.
 
BW3's wings suck. And they suck badly.

They may have had awesome wings 10-20 years ago. Back then they had them cheap and with a lot more meat. Nowadays, not even close.

Yes I know this makes me a ATOT food snob but it's the truth. They opened a kajillion new locations and you can tell the wings are now mass produced in some shit farm somewhere that doesn't even let the chickens get some serious meat on them before slaughter.
 
Theres a place near me called Wing Station that cuts the wings off of angels and fries them in unicorn oil. They're the size of chicken legs, deep fried with no breading, and the medium sauce is the right combo of pungent/spicy.

Damn...hitting them up for lunch tomorrow.

i disagree, i have been to the one local to me about 5-6 times and the wings were always meaty and not over cooked. ive been to local wing shacks that served up sucky ass wings that were nothing but bone and way overcooked.

Holy crap, so I finally gave into the media blitz about the wings and decided to try some tonight.

They were, as Sir Charles Barkley would say, "turrible, Turrible".

I don't know what days old dried up ran over elephant poo taste like, but I can't imagine it's any worse than these wings.
 
"Boneless wings" always cracks me up. Those are chicken nuggets. If you want chicken nuggets with sauce, then buy chicken nuggets and dip them in sauce. If you want fried skin and mean, then get wings.

What would ever compel anyone to eat anything other than hamburgers and nuggets at mcdonalds? Don't you go to mcdonalds to get delicious plastic? Why mess with that?
They don't even offer Bleu Cheese for dipping. Really?

Meghan54 those parts that you mentioned taste the best. Fat is flavor. Crispy bits are the best. Fried bit are great. Bacon is great. Seared backfat sandwiches are great. Gelatin fat cold cuts are great. White meat is easy and generally boring. The rest is flavor laden goodness.

I strongly dislike McDonalds, but I decided to try these after Daym Drops on Youtube raved about them. At least at my MCD's they were super good. Crunchy outside, juicy inside and a stupid amount of meat. I can't remember the last time I had drumettes with that much meat. Even after seeing Daym's video and how much he liked them, I was still surprised how good they actually were. I paid $4.75 for 3 with medium fries and a coke. Not cheap, but they had about twice the meat of the other spots I usually get wings at. So really not a bad deal.

They had a bit of spiciness, and the Chipotle BBQ sauce was killer.

With that said I'm not trying to say they're the best around, they beat BWW (easily) and I'd take them over Wing Stop. They rank below a few local places and definitely way below WOW cafe & Wingery.

Daym Drops could be the most annoying fucking person ever. Not sure how to take a clown like him serious, even for an internet schmuck. Those types of videos should be at least mildly entertaining. Instead I just want to stab this asshole and his cheap ass watch. Oh wait wait I get it! It's a cute way for all the waspy folks to have a laugh at the stereotypical black clown, right? Hilarious.

Seriously? Drown in your own oversized fruit of the loom walmart T shirt. The best way to start reviewing some food is to not dip it in sauce. I mean were reviewing the wings and not the chipotle double cayenne roasted garlic adobo dried balsamic oxtail stew fried oyster sauce, right? Of course we are OH CHICKEN ORIGINALL RECIPIEIE BONLESS OMG RGULAR CHICKEN WIAT, NORMAL SIZE NO BONE!?!?!? YOU THINK IM VIP YOUR EMOTIONS SSS OH IT WAS LIKT IT WAS LIKE WHAT HASHTAG RACISM OMG LIKE WJHA GOING ON NEXT LEVEL I HOPE I DIE FROM CARDiAC ArrEST.

The "drumlet" portion of the wing isn't bad...meaty and flavorful...but if you eat the rest of the wing...you might as well be havin you some of deze:

Those too are edible...and are indeed eaten by many cultures...but in the US of A, they're not "mainstream food."
However....enjoy them if you so desire.

His videos are fun to watch because loves eating and always comes off genuine. He's popular enough to where Travel Channel gave him his own show. So apparently he's a bit more than an "internet schmuck" With that said, he's obviously not going to appeal to everyone. Much like his friend Harley from Epic Meal Time.

I've always enjoyed his videos. He also draws people in. I was watching his wing review and someone at work walking by was just drawn to watch him and enjoyed it. He's got some really great videos out there.

I'm sort of curious on how Sampson feels black men should act when giving delicious food reviews...
