I don't know... but when I worked there years ago (hey, first job...) it was probably the most popular special order regarding the McChicken. Right ahead of "add cheese."
 
beef + pickles = gross

I don't think the Big Extra comes with pickles, either.

To play devil's advocate, either give all of the sandwiches pickles, or none!
 
Chick Fil A does pickles and chicken on their sammiches and i think it tastes pretty damn decent 😀

Grilled chicken (not breaded) sandwich with lettuce, tomato, pickles and bbq sauce is awesome.
