McDonald's Monopoly game peices on Ebay-> A sucker is born every minute

I can believe the boardwalk possibly could be real....his original reserve was $700,000.

You don't get a million dollars lump sum....if he sells the piece for even $250k that may work out better.

Almost every year someone sells the 'rare' piece not knowing on ebay for smaller prizes.....there are a lot of scams though.

I always thought that there could be more than one Boardwalk and Park Place combination. Once all the entries are in, then there is sort of a "pull the winner out of the hat."

I did not know it was just one Boardwalk.

Please enlighten me on the ways of this game, if I am wrong.

I am pretty sure the # of top prize is 1. This are all listed on the rules

you get the odds 1:whatever and total number of prizes for each.

Then I guess all other non-english speaking people wouldn't be allowed?

Is Boardwalk or ParkPlace the hard one to find this year? or are they both equally hard to find. usually one is common, while the other is super rare.

Boardwalk is the hard to find piece. Park place is as common as dirt

im gunna go buy a large fry and rip off the peices then sell the "game peice holder" (fry container)

I have 2 park places in 4 visits to Mc'd's.

Ok so that is the hard one?

You must be kidding me... MYSTERY PIECE for $600+??!

This auction if for 1 Monopoly Game piece.
I just peeled it today.
This is a very very rare game piece. Please bid as you could be the one who recieves this rare game piece.
The only reason I am not revealing the identity of the piece is because I am doing an experiment for 1 and, the other reason can be answered via email only. I am not in it for the winnings just the experiment.
Hopefully this goes to somebody who deserves it.
Please do not email me and ask me what the piece is, just know it is very rare.
Thank You

*****THIS PIECE IS SO RARE THAT I HAVE ONLY SEEN IT THIS ONCE IN ALL THE YEARS MCDONALDS HAS HAD MONOPOLY, AND WHILE THE GAME IS GOING ON I EAT AT MCDONALDS 2 OR MORE TIMES A DAY*****

EDIT: Looks like the bidder followed through with the auction... she has a positive feedback from the seller, who "hopes she is happy with the undisclosed piece".

Unbefrickenlievable!

I AM STUPIDLY SELLING THIS PIECE BECAUSE IF IT WAS THAT HARD TO GET THIS PIECE IT HAS TO BE HARD TO GET THE OTHER PIECE BECAUSE IT HAS TO ALSO BE SOME WHAT RARE. WHICH MEANS I WILL PROBABLY NEVER FIND IT.

"and as far as the stamp number or w/e-im not sure because this is my friends piece(he doesnt have an ebay account) im pretty sure he said 1022 but it might have also been 1023 or 1021(i say 1021 and 1023 because im not 100% but im pretty sure it was 1022)-email me if you know what this means. "

Huh? Is it HIS piece, or his FRIEND'S piece?

PROBABLY A MCDOPE EMPLOYEE WHO STOLE THE GAMEPIECE AND IS TRYING TO MAKE MONEY OFF OF IT NOW THAT HE IS INELIDGIBLE.

Well, that actually wouldn't be too bad a scam now... McD's employees aren't eligible in the game, since they could just rip the game pieces off and chuck the cups or whatever. Find a good piece, sell it on ebay. Then a complete stranger gets the prize and there's no real suspicion.
