Didn't notice it mentioned, but if you buy stamps at costco or sam's club, I think it's cheaper than the 39 cent rate. I believe you get them at 37 cents... :) Of course, you have to buy them in 100s...

Which basically utterly negates the 40% you're saving in the first place. .70 on the dollar will pay for postage & supplies...

My point was that you could buy then from ~30% of instead of doing the bulk mailing. People selling them usually just have a few from actually eating at McD's and are happy to unload them for a little PayPal.

So my story shall begin...I will be writing 100 of these while I am working right now. =) So tech. I am double dipping right? Haha

Lets see it takes about 6 bucks to buy a Super Size meal with 4 board stamps and 1 best buy buck. For that amount I can recieve 7 game pieces if I mail in the requests.

Thats what i'm going to do.

Last year you couldn't return stuff you bought w/ BBB. If you bought a $100 item using $75 in bucks, they'd ring it as a $75 discount - meaning that if you returned it, you'd only get $25 back.

The only way to do the return is to "lose" your receipt and return w/o receipt, so you just get store credit, probably at whatever price the item has been on sale for recently. Probably have to also tell them it was a gift since they'll usually try to look up the receipt for you.

I know that the people above posting that they're planning to do returns probably already know this - but I'm sure there's people reading this thread who WOULDN'T understand this and have issues...

Limit of 40 promotional codes of any kind may be redeemed per online order.

so if you want to get $200 off you better have 40 of the $5 certs.

Yeah I am going to go get whatever and then have my g/f go in the next day and say she wants to return it and that it was a gift w/o a reciept. Hopefully it will work. haha...

If I lived in VT, I'd charge 15 cents per envelope to forward the game pieces to a non-VTer.

Some non-VTer works out a deal and sends in a bunch of envelopes using a willing VTer's address. The VTer would say "Put down 'A' as my middle initial". When the game pieces come back to the VTer, all the envelopes with a middle initial of A get opened and the game pieces forwarded in one envelope to the actual non-VT recipient for a 15 cent charge per envelope. The next person who contracts with the VTer gets a middle initial of 'B', etc.

The non-VTer still saves 24 cents per request in postage because requests going to Vermont addresses don't have to include return postage on the SASE. The VTer doesn't have to address/mail anything except one envelope to forward the game pieces.

From reading the rules, I don't see that this would be a violation.

Best Buy Bucks are valid for one-time use only and must be used only during normal hours of operation in Best Buy stores located in the U.S. between 10/3/06 and 12/2/06 OR at BestBuy.com between 12:00:01 a.m. Central Time ("CT") 10/3/06 and 11:59:59 p.m. (CT) 12/2/06.

Does this mean that best buy bucks cannot be used for purchases on Black Friday that may occur at 5 AM (or anytime before the "normal" hours of operation)? It would be nice to get 200$ off a laptop/desktop deal that they have going on at BB during Black Friday, but those go quick, i.e. early in the morning.

Anyone used these on Black Friday? Experiences?

My BB refused them last Black Friday however they will accept a gift card/store credit. Hence, buy and return without receipt something well before Black Friday and then have that store credit ready.

My BB at my home accepted my BBB happily on BF, only scanning in 1 of the $1 and 1 of the $3 each, unlike my college BB which scanned each one of my 100+ coupons...
