McDonald's is getting friggin' annoying

They are pushing it in response to the Monster burger, which claims on it's ad "The biggest double cheese burger in fast food."

Life would go so much quicker if we all just spoke in acronyms, or, to express myself acronymically, LWGSMQIWAJSIA.

IMHO, the WWW is much closer to that ideal than IRL. YMMV though, depending on A/S/L of your chat partner. k?

Hm, I actually like that burger. Not quite as good as the Wendy's Classic Triple though. But still better than Jack in the Box's Ultimate Cheeseburger, IMHO.

I hate the huge adertising campaign that tells everyone that if they buy 3 items from the Dollar Menu it will only cost them $3. *mutter*

I think they are trying to make customers seem like they aren't eating as much. Double Quarter Pounder With Cheese makes it sound like what it actually is. DQPC sounds more appealing to people who want to eat it, but don't want to sound like they are scarfing down .5 pounds of meat or w/e it is.

Sorta like what KFC did. Kentucky Fried Chicken changed so it wouldn't sound like it was fried, it became KFC, now its Kitchen Fresh Chicken...It's all marketing gimmicks to fatten america up.
