McDonalds ice coffee: how do people drink this crap?

I was firmly in the hate category for years. I would have rather had nothing than McDonald's coffee. They seem to have improved a good bit when they went to the cafe styling, and I enjoy it a good bit now. It's nothing super fantabulous, but it's perfectly acceptable, and I'll drink it when I get their breakfast.

yip, i as well. when they changed to the cafe model their coffee changed from suckage to pretty damn good.

just like all the other crap they sell at that place. the power of advertisement proves time and time again you can make people eat anything with the right sales pitch.

Gatta love typical ATOT. Even if it's the exact same thing that other people make, if it's McDonald's it can't be good. Just like with the sweet tea.

I don't like McDonald's, but their premium coffee beats Starbucks in blind taste tests more times than not.

I'm not sure if that says more about McDonalds or Starbucks.

When will you people STOP PUTTING SHIT IN THE COFFEE!@#+)(%*&#*@&%&)*&

Nothing irritates me more than people who turn coffee into tan-colored mud.

50% milk, 30% coffee, 20% sweetener. Never again.

Coffee is NOT supposed to be this color

Sounds good to me. 😛

Coffee itself = insanely bitter, with a smell which seems to share some of its chemical makeup with skunk musk. (I wish I had a mass spectrometer so I could confirm or deny that. But dammit, I think that the two smell very similar.)

<-- misses Dunkin Donut's Coffee Coollatta. There are no Dunkin Donuts within at least 50 miles.

Hm, someone mentioned Tim Hortons. I think we've got those here, and their site lists an "Iced Cappuccino." I may have to partake.
And with the weather here lately, something like that would actually be a step up in temperature. (Assuming they even sell it in winter.)

I suddenly feel like making some of "coffee."
Store-brand decaf coffee, made in a $15 4-cup coffee maker. Half milk, half coffee. To that, add about 1.5T sugar. Stir. Stare menacingly at Radaque. Take a sip. Enjoy the rage.:awe:

you said sweetener right? I'm in.

BTW, I don't know how people drink coffee... it gives me the shits right after. Not even Taco Bell does that.

Their premium coffee is fine. Not any worse than Tim Horton's (at least the new ones in NYC that I've tried) and not much worse than Dunkin' Donuts.

Granted, none of these places are "gourmet" coffee places, but any person with common sense would realize that. It's all about price and convenience, not delicious cat poo coffee that costs $10 a thimble after a 15 minute wait.
