I don't know if this commercial has been out for a long time but, I just saw a WTF ad that has me shaking my head.

A couple of little kids are looking through a telescope and complain to Ronald McDonald that they can't see anything. So, Ronald takes a look and, sure enough, the sky is black. Then, he grabs a hand of something sparkly (fries?), throws them up into the sky and creates the milky way.

WTF! It hurts my head just trying to imagine what they were attempting to convey.

Dude, they're saying that Ronald McDonald is God. I, for one, welcome my new lord and savior.

So Ronald = God? And he's indoctrinating our children?

This is why you NEVER trust a clown. :)

Yeah, I think you're being pretty stupid if you take offense at such things. It's obviously trying to associate happy kids with McDonalds.

Just about every commercial is retarded if you take it as a literal statement about reality. From Lexus cars with big bows in front of snow-covered houses on Christmas morning being the only way to make your spouse happy, or Nike shoes giving you the ability to jump hundreds of feet in the air while running away from wild animals, to Axe body spray attracting thousands of women stampeding from across the city to you... don't be so naive.

Who's taking offense? Who's taking it literally? Who's being naive?

It just left me scratching my head because I had no idea what they were trying to say. It was a total non sequitur. I like pie.

Would you rather have him show the evolution of a french fry as it started by crawling out of the ketchup ocean?

Have you been hanging out with Dave McCowen? Thats the kind of paranoid shit he would come up with from a friggin happy meal commercial.

Don't think to hard OP or you'll hurt something. It's just a dumb commercial. It's not supposed to have any deep meaning other than to get you to buy crappy burgers.
