You know, in the frozen section you can buy Jimmy Deans at BJs or Walmart for $1 each (comes in a 6-pack). I guarantee you'll not crave those from McD's anymore... it's pretty similar at half the cost. I still crave the McGriddles though.

Screw that. It's incredibly easy, and cheap, to make your own "breakfast sandwiches".

The JD ones suck.. I've made my own in the past but it's just not the same. I haven't had one in a long time either, now this thread has made me hungry for one.

Sure, just make an egg, and a biscuit, and cook a sausage... wait, this seems like it's taking a lot longer!

it's all the built up grease on the grill. adds to the flavor.

whataburger serves breakfast from 11 to 11, which isn't bad.

taco cabana used to serve breakfast until 1 on weekends. i was so pissed the day i walked in at 12:30 and they wouldn't give me eggs mexicana

Unless you live next door to a McDonalds it'll be a shitload quicker. If I plan ahead by plugging in my George Foreman, I can have a finished sandwich in about 4 minutes from the time that I open my refridgerator.

Sausage takes about 2.5 minutes to cook
Eggs take about 3
English Muffin takes 1.5 minutes in a toaster oven

Plus I won't get raging diarrhea after eating my meal.

An English muffin is not a biscuit. Biscuits take 8-10 minutes to cook.
You're also neglecting your prep time and clean-up time. I think most people grabbing a McD's breakfast sandwich are just stopping on their way somewhere else. I'm pretty sure that's only marginally cheaper than the above-mentioned $1 sandwiches, too.

This is just because you suck. I've had Taco Bell for well over 15 years and still have never had the stomach issues people proclaim. Same with any other fast food. I actually have a weak stomach in general but foods like that never bothered me like everyone likes to joke about.

Prep time is built into the 4 minutes. Crack eggs, drop in pan, rip off 2 chunks of sausage, put on grill, drop english muffins into toaster oven, salt + pepper on eggs, melt cheese on sausage, take muffins out, add sausage, add egg.

Cleanup takes maybe 1 minute to wipe the GF and the pan. And why the fuck would I use biscuits? I'm not making the same sandwhich as McDonalds, I'm making one that I prefer.

I don't really get what your point is. Enjoy your McDonalds meal, and I'll enjoy the one that I make myself. Not saying that it's better for everyone, but for me it definitely is.

Also, I never claimed that it's easier or cheaper to make your own so the entire basis of your argument is moot.

Good for you? I'm kind of glad that my body rejects fast food.

I don't care for McDonald's breakfast. You clearly drew an analogy between your sandwich and the frozen ones.

But really, I'm just arguing for the sake of arguing, that's what makes my basis moot 😛

The only reason I could figure that he gets that from a McD's sandwich, but not his own of similar construction is because of the Foreman grill. Must not handle grease well. What a pansy.

Well I'm arguing for serious. I must promote my ideals!

What's the difference between a BK whopper or angus burger compared to one you bbq at home? This whole fast food sucks thing has gone from people joking about it to people who actually believe it. Fast food is not all the same anyway.

Croissants > English Muffins >>>>>> Biscuits

It's hard to mess up any of the 3 above.

Bagels have a larger standard deviation between good and bad. Therefore, even though I'm a fan of bagels, I'd never get one from McD's or any other fast food place.

I've started making Egg McMuffin's for breakfast at home, takes like 3 minutes. Toast the English muffin, cook egg with cheese, and I even throw some green peppers/tomatoes on it. mmmm sooo good, never will have a McMuffin again.

When I make burgers at home and eat them with a side of veggies and a glass of water I consume a shitload less MSG, sugar, and fat.

Plus, MY BODY REJECTS FAST FOOD. So even if I wanted to eat a Whopper Meal every day, the constant pissing out of my ass would make me not want to.

^ so you have to hand-make your own beef patty with your burgers? Sausages for your breakfast too?

Huh? I buy ground beef at the store. Take a chunk out, form into patty, put on George Foreman for 3:15.

Some nights I fry an egg or onions and mushrooms to add on top. When I'm feeling extra saucy I'll add bacon.

You don't even put salt and pepper on it?

Pepper, and sometimes a little seasoning. Red pepper flakes + spicy Monterey jack cheese + bbq sauce makes a killer burger.
