It won't change anything, but it should at least be fun to watch the Senate GOP fighting the way the House does over its Speaker.

McConnell is incredible at crafting evil behind the scenes and doing it with a smiling presentable face. He's single handed changed the US SCOTUS to 6-3 conservaterrorist.

Anyone else in that position is likely to be a clown in comparison - par for the course of the clowns they have currently in the MAGA clown car.

Knocking down social security and stuff.. the new MAGA guys might actually do it!

Terrifying thought for general public..

I 100% agree with what Indus posted a few posts above. I'm not so confident the Dems will retain control over the Senate, but I sure hope they do.

I think he froze up again; 3rd strike. 'Step down or we're going to make a big deal out of this and that gets to be the final note in your career history. You can finish your term with dignity, just keep quiet.' He sees the writing on the wall wrt to the maga take over of his party. Things are looking futile and he's tired. Also about to die probably.

Was hoping a man this evil and harmful to the country would have a more humiliating exit, but we'll take what we can get I guess.

You repeatedly kow towed to and protected a traitorous CiC Mitch. You were instrumental in helping that traitor destroy the credibility of the SCOTUS with unfit, political activist judges. The effects of your racist christofascist agenda will continue to harm this country for decades to come. May your demise mirror some of the suffering and pain you spent so long to help create for others. I'll see you soon Mitch, thoroughly hydrated I might add.
