McCain sold out long ago and is nothing more than an establishment pawn.

How's your CFR membership doing Mr. McCain?

It is this ideology that results with attacks like 9/11, and a continuation of that ideology will only lead to more dead Americans, in and out of uniform.

Ah, yes. Blame America First.

Why not tell us how you really feel, instead of hiding behind some populous theme or pretending to be sane. You feel that the USA invited, and perhaps even deserved, 9/11. Why not just come out and say it?

Recognizing poor policy is not the same as blaming America, just as being against war is not the same as being against the troops. Of course, I'm sure you already know this, but just want to be an ass.

OP, you seem to think America is in Extreme trouble right now. We've seen better days, but we don't have terrible problems of our own to solve. We aren't in the 60s, and we aren't in the Dust Bowl. You haven't seen America in trouble. Really, would it do much to withdraw our troops and start encumbering peace? For one, our troops are going to come home and be received the same way the Vietnam vets were, poorly. No, we should stand ground in Iraq and maybe the positive trend that is now occurring with the war will continue.

There is no positive trend until we leave that shithole.
