McCain gets criticism from his own party

Does anybody else find this odd? I mean these guys aren't just "liberal media", they are true-blood conservatives. I think this further shows how McCain and lately some of the republican party has strayed away from values they used to hold in the Reagan era 20 - 30 years ago.

Can you think for yourself or are you just going to continue to steal headlines from Digg?

Oh noes I posted something which was made popular on Digg 15 minutes after my post (digg "made popular" at 8:01 AM, my post at was at 7:43 AM)

Has your trolling gotten so bad that the only reason you find to criticize a post is that it got bumped up on Digg after I already posted?

😕

It may have been "made popular" after you posted this but it was obviously posted yesterday, which makes you just an echo chamber for the liberal morons over at Digg.

First of all, I missed the Digg article, and second, this is Anandtech, not Digg. I don't scan Digg for articles before coming to Anandtech, and haven't even looked at Digg in the past week until you mentioned the video being posted on there. Try to debate the actual point instead of flaming because the video was posted on an unrelated site.

So let me get this straight. You don't check Digg but your thread title is almost exactly what was on Digg a full day before you posted it?

You're an idiot. I posted the youtube clip this morning, then you posted the reply about Digg, so I checked Digg and posted the time of when it became popular. How stupid are you to not be able to understand that? Top it off anandtech.com isn't associated with Digg, so the whole original point you made was moot to begin with.

My whole point is that you have no original thought have have to copy and paste ideas from what you read over at Digg. Try to dodge all you want but it doesnt change the fact that you stole your headline form Digg and are now trying to excuse it.

What does this have to do with the topic (one which I can't imagine you want to discuss on its merits)? Who gives a crap if the headline was recycled from Digg?

He is trying to work the republican magic of spin, to make the forum debate something besides republicans slamming McSame.

Not at all. Actually what I am doing is actually showing how little original thought there is from liberals like yourself. We have plenty of time to debate the issue here. Just admit you stole the title from Digg and we can move on to debating your thoughtless claims.

You have no point because you are trying to spin something that isn't there. Fact of the matter is that Digg has nothing to do with the video as it was posted on Youtube. Let me guess - you're going to start discounting something just because it was posted on Youtube next? The only thing you are doing at this point is discrediting yourself.

Its already been proven you stole it. You see, you posted a title almost identitcal to the Digg title from 1 day before you posted it. Then when I called you out on it you automaticallyt tried to divert by saying it was "made popular" (how would you know that if you dont check Digg?) after you posted it when in reality it was actually posted a full day before you posted it.

When are you going to start "debating the issue"? This is ridiculous. I guess it's not surprising you would try to threadjack given the topic, but it's still pretty weak, and suggests that you don't want to "debate the issue" at all. What possible difference can it make where the OP got the title? He didn't create the video, and he certainly isn't one of the Republican pundits hammering the McCain campaign in it.

You have proven nothing - nada - zip. You are trying to create an association when there isn't one, to derail the thread. Most people call that trolling. All this proves to the forum is that you are idiot.

He's scared to debate the actual issue because he's a pvssy.

Corbett - PSA: time to man up and grow a sack; debate the issue that this thread is about.

This is sheer idiocy. You're critiquing him for "stealing" a headline? You're coming off like a petulant, whiny child. It's ironic in that your own behavior tracks perfectly with McCain's campaign: ignore the issues, attack the man.

Did Karl Rove train you himself or what?
* I didn't steal the article. PERIOD. You have no conclusive proof whatsoever to even back up your point.
* Whether something was posted on Digg has absolutely zero to do with the debate. PERIOD.
* You are a coward - you refuse to even debate the issue at hand because you have nothing to say, instead you try and spin the issue to something completely unrelated to the topic. PERIOD.

Talking with you is like trying to explain carbon dating to a creationist.

You have no thought yourself, because you refuse to discuss the actual issue which is the video. I didn't steal anything from Digg and you are a complete moron for trying to bring that up.

You have proven nothing - nada - zip. You are trying to create an association when there isn't one, to derail the thread. Most people call that trolling. All this proves to the forum is that you are idiot.

All you have to do is admit you stole the headline and I will debate the topic.

So basically you're a coward. Check and mate.

Nice dodge. We both know you stole the title and have no original thought so please, dont let me get in your way of copying and pasting stories and responses.

You are the one dodging here - you are too cowardly to debate the issue, so you keep trying to distract people from what the issue actually is. That is why nobody listens to you.

I guess that makes you a nobody then. And again, I will say that coward here is the one who cant admit he stole the headline and has no original thought.

I've already posted the conclusive evidence you stole the topic. So just admit it and we can move on to debating the topic.

I'm too much of a pvssy to debate the actual video, so instead I'll try and spin spin spin.

Fixed.

I'm not spinning anything. I'm talking about how you stole your title and have no original thought. Why would I debate somethng with someone who has no original thought. Again, just admit you stole your headline and we can move on.

Corbett, can you at least edit your block quotes? They're taking up the whole page now. It suggests your computer literacy is on par with your logical and rhetorical skills.

Hey, we're debating someone with no original thought - it's not so bad!

FWIW, when I link to an article, I always use the original headline. I also, as juddog did, contribute my own thoughts on it. I guess I too lack "original thought," eh?
