MBR corrupt message

I'm running a dual boot config with win98 and 2000, i used partition magic to do the partition. I have been running this for about 6 months with no problems. I have been pretty much using 2000 exclusivley for the past 2 months. I recently went to boot into win98 and got a invalid disk error message, tried again and got a MBR corrupt message. I did a disk check with partion magic and it said disk was healthy
so was wondering if anyone might have a possible solution. I'm a relative newbie so keep it simple please Thanks
