hey i was trying to install the seagate 200 gb drive (the one with $60 after rebate ^_^) but after i tried running the computer, the monitor wouldn't show anything. i have since put it back to just being my original HD with original settings but the monitor still won't show up, and i've tried this monitor i'm seeing through now and this one wouldn't receive anything either... i didn't mess with the video card or anything.

i'm just wondering if there are typical things i can look out for in order to fix this problem.. thanks

yeah i've taken it out and put it back in, but i don't have another video card to test with. i'm taking it to a computer guy tomorrow.. he has tons of spare parts we can test with to try to determine what's wrong..

Maybe the RAM got bumped? Tried reseating the RAM yet? What are the full system specs and the brand/model of power supply running the show?

Got any high-quality 300W+ power supplies you could try substituting in there?
