got an old tyan something sporting an sis apollo pro 133a chipset and a p3 866... trying to OC this thang a bit, but dont know nothing about it ( OCing ). basically im practising on this in prep for the 8inxp sitting in a box next to me. newbalicious!

just dl mbm5 and after setting what i think is the cpu temp ( sensor 1 ) and the northbridge temp ( sensor 2 ) i open dashboard and this is what i see :Q...

-43c???!!!

so i figure the sensor isnt reading right or the sensor is broke or its not the cpu or northbridge sensors OR its the sensor to my cryogeniclly preserved dog in the basement...

any thoughts? tia

You need to know which board you have and then look it up on their website.

I have MBM set as: Sensor 1-Winbond 1 and Sensor 2-Winbond 2 Diode. Give a try.
