I recently downloaded MBM4 to test out my CPU temp etc. but it stays at 0 degrees the whole time. The TroubleShooter said

"This means that the program cannot detect the LM78/LM79/WinBond W83781D and or LM75 ."

I have no idea what that means and i would to make it work to test my cpu temps. Help would be greatly appriciated.

Log to the MBM site Here. Scroll down in the left frame, you will see the name of the Mobos that are supported, find your Mobo, and it will tell you the temp. port setting

You have to go in and pick the proper sensors. Under the "General" tab click on "System"; set sensor 1 to Via686A-2 and sensor 2 to Via686A-3. (I'm assuming the KA7 has the VIA686A chip like my Abit KT7 does and you have MBM4.18?)

If you take a look at that site, correlate your mobo with the sensors, it should work.

KA7-100 with MBM 4.18

Voltage and fans - VIA686A
Case Temp. - VIA686A-2
CPU - Temp.- VIA686A-3

Does not matter sensor 1 or 2.

No, CPU temperature should vary a bit. Load the VIA hardware manager (from the CD that came with the MB) thing and compare temps to it. The VIA HWM and MBM4 reading should be the same.
