MBA: Tier2 schools better than none at all?

an MBA is never worth it. your increase in pay will never make up for the time and expense spent if you don't go to the big boys. and the people who go to the big boys won't make it up either because those people were already going to make it.

not always true. i work for a university and i end up paying about 2.5k for 3 quarters of tuition a year. my total cost is going to be roughly 7.5k for 3 years of part time mba classes when i finish. this is at a state university. in this instance it costs me nearly nothing to go and an almost certain case for making more than that afterwards.
