My ECS nForce3-A finally quite working. I just want to replace it with something cheap and keep all other components that are currently in this rig - AMD 3200, Corsair Value Select ram, and I think the graphic card is 6600GT AGP. I know this is an outdated system but I just want something for my children to use for their homework and play games. Thanks.

socket 754 cpu is outdated. Your choices are slim. Reviews for the ECS Nrotce3-a appear to have been good. If it met you needs I would stick with the devil you know.
Tigerdirect still sells it for $50. look here.

It would be a very easy repair. You shouldn't have to reload windows or mess with any new driver updates.

Thanks LouSly. Can I still use the my other components if I was to choose a different MB? One that is more current?

Keep an eye on Newegg for an open box mobo. I picked up a socket 754 board the other day for $18.99 shipped. Best $20 I've spent in a long time.
