Mazda Verisa SS (Sophisticated Sport) Concept

The Cross Sport concept is pretty hot IMHO 🙂 What kind of powerplant does the Verisa have?

Why are you surprised? Vehicles in all segments grow larger and more expensive with each product refresh. Over time enough space is cleared for an entry level vehicle to fit below the previous "compact". Toyota saw the opportunity and is capitalizing on it with Scion. Nissan will bring an entry level compact below the Sentra in the next couple years. Mazda will as well (or at least is considering it).

I like the concept version of the Verisa that came out early this year better.

The Crossport is gorgeous, and I would love to see that make it into production (untouched, it looks good as is!) instead of the Mazda5 microvan.

cross-sport looks like an infinit FX

so disappointing in seeing mazda go that route

because the FX looks like ass 🙁

verisa definitely looks better than an xB / xA

but imo those never looked good to begin with

That Verisa is already sold in Europe and elsewhere besides the US in similar clothing. Other makes can follow Toyota's lead of just deciding to spice up existing cars in foreign markets and ship them to the US.

I'm just referring to the overly boxy shape to it.
