Mazda RX-8 - opinions?

Just curious as to how people like the car. How do you feel about it?

It's a nice, fun little car, with a bit of zip in it. Also, there's plenty of room in it.

It's ok, looks like a fun car that I'd buy as a daily driver. Mazda needs to bring back the RX-7, though.

Beautiful car. Would be damned near perfect if they used the 270 HP 2.4L Turboed FSI engine instead of the wanker engine.

I read in a review somewhere that it eats motor oil like crazy, and also gets piss poor mileage.

Plus, I personally love the design.

compared to the fd rx-7, yes its underpowered. they could've done so much with that engine, but they didnt. your old car had 85, lemme guess, early 80s honda?

I've heard the RX7 is coming back. I assume that means they're scrapping the rotary engine, correct? What other major differences will there be?

supercharger instead of turbo

wow, my 82 accord has 85 hp, thats horrible

hehe. aside from the fact that it didn't have air-conditioning, it was a great car. my dad has it now. it's just a go-cart. one thing I have to give to saturn is they know how to design shifters...the whole shifting system is just nice compared to some other cars
