Mazda 3 ranked "best pick" for frontal crash protection

With the airbag package I'd assume quite well.

And well...assuming you had the airbag deployment sensor recall done. :frown:

Sucks that they make you pay extra for the side airbags. The Gov't is going to change that soon.

Hyundai gives front and side/curtain airbags standard.

That was actually fairly painless... when I went in for 7,500 mile service, they just asked me if I wanted the recall work done right there. Added another 10-15 mins tops.

Its a new model, I'm willing to forgive it. 🙂

Small car from Kia is a disappointment: "The Spectra has several problems that added up to a poor rating," Lund commented. The structure is rated acceptable because of too much intrusion into the driver footwell area. The dummy's head bottomed out the airbag and then went part way out the open side window and hit the door frame. High forces were recorded on the dummy's head, and there were possibilities of injuries to the neck, chest, and both legs.

uncool...uncool..
