Mayweather vs. Pacquiao

I really feel whoever loses this fight retires. Pac simply because he's mostly done (you don't see the same guy that destroyed De La Hoya in the ring anymore) and Mayweather because he has nothing left to prove. He made his millions and can get out having lost to one of the best fighters of the past 20+ years while beating nearly everyone else.

Pac wins, rematch, mayweather avenges his loss, both retire stinkin rich.

I don't know. A few years back I would have bought the PPV immediately, but now I kind of don't care.

KT

In 2009, I'd have bought it in a heart beat at my house, invited no one, and glued myself to the TV. In 2011, I'd still have bought it, but I might not have been as intense about watching it. Today, I am not buying it, but I'll watch it since the GF's parents are buying it. They don't even like boxing; they are just Filipino and Manny is almost to the level Pele is to Brazil.

Be prepared for some extreme yelling whenever Manny throws a jab.

I think it was $99. Might not be set yet, but that's the expectation for the HD feed.

That's what I heard over here, in the UK it's £20 for HD p.p.v. for the fight.

That's unbelievable, I thought we got ripped off here.

half the price of any ppv show goes to the ppv network, half to the service provider.

in 1999 my former employer sent us on a sweep of local bars that were customers but had not ordered a tyson fight. the owner or bartender would order the fight at home, get the box approved and then bring the box to work to avoid the huge commercial charges. i went to dozens of places and not 1 had the fight - most had march madness college basketball, 1 had the golden girls 😛

Would be amusing if PacMan knocked him out in 10 seconds, about like the Tyson days but that won't happen I guess.

Should be a good fight, I won't buy it though.
