wow all the 'guys' preferring Mayo over MW really makes sense to me.

I like both..on most sandwiches MW is better.

Different tools for different jobs. Generally I prefer mayo on a sandwich (with certain exceptions) but miracle whip on a salad. On a sandwich the sweetness of MW tends to over-ride the flavor of the meat. In a salad, I find the sweetness is a good complement to all the other flavors. In particular with tuna salad, mayo seems to accentuate the fishiness while MW cuts it.

Need 3rd poll option: "I have taste buds that function thus both mayonnaise and Miracle Whip are revolting."

Seriously people, stop playing into the "white cuisine" stereotype.

Miracle Whip is disgusting. I hate when restaurants put it on sandwiches without telling you. They act like nobody can tell the difference.

Think you are missing something...

The main difference between Miracle Whip and mayonnaise are the sweeteners: high-fructose corn syrup and sugar are the fourth and fifth ingredients, respectively, of Miracle Whip.

Got this from this web page:

http://www.neatorama.com/2006/12/22/whats-the-difference-miracle-whip-vs-mayonnaise/

High fructose corn syrup is an ingredient that I avoid, and it is not natural.

Nope, not missing anything. Believe it or not, you cannot believe everything you read on the web. MW does not contain HFCS. I typed the list of ingredients directly off the jar.

It depends on what I'm eating. I like them both with certain things.

this.

a turkey sammich tastes much better with mayo, but i like miracle whip in tuna more than with mayo. different sammiches require different flavors. also, sometimes a burger tastes better with mayo, sometimes with miracle whip.

mustard is always added to mine tho, regardless if its MW or mayo.

i didnt vote, since i like them both about equally.

It actually did contain HFCS before a year or so ago, but they removed it due to pressure.

hellmans mayo goes on all of my sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs along with ketchup, some types of mustard, maybe bbq sauce
