Maybe this is why Nintendo didn't want to put DVD-Video support on the Dolphin.

I doubt thats the main reason but that is a good point. BTW, Matsushita is releasing DVD players w/ Dolphin technology so you can watch pr0n and play Dolphin games all on the same box, just that it will cost an extra $100 more than a regular Dolphin.
 
I heard Panasonic was planning worldwide introductions of Dolphin-compatible players after the Game Cube is released.

I wouldn't mind popping in a XXX flik after playing GranTurismo Crappy Rehash 3. Porn may actually be the saving grace for the PS2 as the games sure as hell won't keep anyone's attention for any period of time.

GT2 is an excellent if not rather buggy game. How long do you think the graphics in GT3 will hold your attention when you realize that GT3 is basically GT2 with better graphics and less cars? Bottomline is I did it before and I don't see the promise of two new tracks and better graphics enough to make me do it again. Not a worthy sequel.
 
GT3 isn't going to be anything amazing, but GT4 with several
hundred cars (+ additional cars you'll download off the 'net),
way more than 5 AI opponents and full network play... it's
going to be sweet. 😀 However it won't be out until 2003 🙁
 
i don't know what the big deal w/ using ps2 as a format for pron....its not like you can't pop any pron dvd into any dvd player and watch it, so what's the difference on ps2? the only thing i could see would be the rom feature availability of computer dvd rom drives perhaps?
 
Of course you can just pop in any old pr0n dvd. Its just for marketing. Like all these dvds with the lame 'compatible with ps2' stickers. Now it'd be REALLY lame if they put those stickers on music cds.
 
My biggest complaint with the GT series: 170 cars. 10 of them various civic models, as if a Civic VX and DX were two different cars.
