There is no forum for memory, and this is about overclocking, so...
Is there a list or database somewhere about memory performance? One keeps hearing about Infineon or Mushkin or Crucial or..., but I haven't seen an organized resource for memory. I suspect both the chip manufacturer and the DIMM OEM/tester contribute to the performance one could expect from a certain label.
Case in point: I have Kingston ValueRam (==PC100) sticks, some with chips from IBM and and some from Samsung. I do not know what to expect from them.
Any pointers?
