Oh, another plus with it being the day before Mother's Day is the fact that the crowds will be very light. It's early season, day before a major holiday, we shouldn't see lines longer than maybe 10 minutes.

but remember they have fast passes now, that get you onto the ride in like <30min at a specified time

i rode millenium force 3 times last time, 1 with fast pass (20min wait), 1 early on(2hours), and one Late on a sunday (30min).

but the new coaster will have a longer line than millenium force just cuz its new

One way I learned to work the park the best is to start from the back and work forward. Most people will start at the front, work towards the back by midway through the day, then back towards the front towards evening.

So if you go in that reverse order, you shouldn't see lines too long.

That is true. I don't drink soda much, but I don't think they will be sold until closer to summer.

They usualy come out towards the end of april/early may. When I went back in high school several years ago, we went in early may and they had the cans out by then.

If anyone is on the fence about going, this is HANDS DOWN the BEST time to go to cedar point. The lines for everything move quickly (except maybe the new ride) and you can hit every ride in the park easily. Sometimes its a little cold for the water rides, but that never stopped us .

Later in the year there's a TON more people, so it's not as much fun, even if it is warmer.
