Just bought a Maxtor OneTouch III 160GB 7200RPM 8MB cache external hard drive, and wanted to know which is a better and easier software to use for backing up the data. I have used TrueImage in the past, which is great, as you can schedule it to back up your system each night. I have never used Maxtor's OneTouch software. Can you schedule that as well to back up the data each night, or do you always have to hit the button.
The person who I bought this for needs to have it set up as a "no brainer."
Also, question 2 is, with TrueImage, after you do a full backup and then set it up to do an incremental backup, how do you deal with the hard drive eventually filling up. Is there a way to set it up so that it will automatically delete all of the contents and start over with the backup, or do you have to do that manually every so often.
