I went to the OD in Merritt Island, Florida, and there didn't seem to be any left except for the one I had on hold. Maybe there were a couple more in the back on hold as well as mine. Well, the cashier rung up my drive as a wrong price ($79), and I tried explaining to her that there was an instant rebat and it should come to $43 and that I would get an additional $25 rebate with that which I would have to mail in. She tried to tell me that both rebates were mail in, but her manager cut in and just rang the drive up for $18 for me, effectively making the $25 MIR an instant rebate. I was quite happy. I was even expecting the drive to be an ATA100 drive, but it was an ATA133. Even with 2mb cache, this is far from a shabby drive. It will go great in my spare rig 🙂
