The OD site says these are back ordered but I went by my local OD this morning and they were in stock and had the ATA133 label. I showed them the printout of the $20 off $100 and to my surprise they said they would "find a way to match it". Then I noticed their price was $129 instead of $119, so they matched that by forcing a coupon value of $30 ($20 for the web coupon and $10 to match the price).

The only thing they did that was incorrect was to apply the tax before the coupon reduction, but at that point I didn't want to quibble, as the difference was only about $4.00.

So, after everything I got it for $80.55 AR which is still not a bad price total for the 40G ATA133 version.

Besides, I really didn't want to put this on my credit card, and, more importantly, I needed the drive today for a system that must be completed by around 3pm.

So, they are in stock at some stores and you may be able to get them to match the internet deal - just see if they'll apply the coupon before doing the tax.

Sorry. Office Depot told my printout of "my list" from Staples. Tried to see if it is still on my Staple site, but said the special has expired.

If you have a local microcenter then its possible. Otherwise if you are like me.... my local staples closeup... then your deal is only
79.. after rebate . 79 dollars include tax.

Not a bad deal though. Thanks for the post.
