The trick is that this is the best price around, now as far as I know. The rebate is manufacturer's one so there is no way to use a copy of UPC. $35-36 sounds like a great deal for 30 gig if you need a cheap drive.The rebate states any authorized Maxtor retailer... so you could use it at other places as well. Anyone care to get creative and combine this with coupons or something?
