FYI, in case it's useful for somebody, my local Fry's (Indy) told me last week that they now match Outpost prices! So if you want more than one and have a Fry's nearby, just go grab this at Fry's and keep walking in/out until you have as many as you want. 🙂

I own the $74.99 version (I paid $82 at Fry's in back in June 06)
Not bad either. Would this be a tad faster?
 
maxtor has 1 yr warranty and SG 5yr.

also maxtor is closing out and being merged into SG. hence lack of long term support for maxtors
 
Hmm... the 160gb I bought a month ago is full already and I need another hard drive... too bad this is IDE though, as I'm out of IDE slots to put this on lol. Maybe if I can find a good deal on a external HD case...

Do you know anything about bussiness? When they "merge" or one company take over another they assume all liabilities, including support and warranties. You will have long term support...
