Possible, and I probably trust WD more than Maxtor, but the 3 year warranty tempers that a little I guess.

I had a diamondmax 10 and it broke...i would rather have a 5 year warranty for less performance as anything of any brand can break....especialy if you leave your computer on all the time, using bittorrent to download...open source software.... often then a higher warranty would seem like the better deal IMO
