So... couldn't you go to Staples and pricematch the CompUSA price, get $20 worth of other stuff, then use your 30 off 150 coupon to get it effectively for $100?

WD is also the loudest drives i have every worked with. and i have had 2 die on me

Maxtor and WD are about the same quality. I've owned a mixture of both. They both seem to have
problems from time to time.

8mb cache isn't everything, 2mb will be more then be sufficient. 160 gb for 80.00 make more sense to me. or 200 for 100.00
