I ordered this drive ... and even though it shows that it is in stock (That stupid AMAZON statement: USUALLY SHIPS WITHING 24 HOURS!), they would be shipping it only on 20th March! The scheduled delivery date is March 24th.

I think we'll probably have many more deals like that with much quicker shipping. So I might cancel my order soon!:disgust:

I bought mine on a friday when they have the friday sale. It was another 10 dollars off.

I don't think that Staples B&M will PM amazon.com but you can just call it in to 1800-333-3330 and they will PM the AR price.

I also got the 3 year warranty drive. But this confuses me and makes me worry a bit. I can't find this drive's model number on the maxtor website. What IS this drive? Is this the new DiamondMaxPro 9? Because it certainly doesn't say that on the box anywhere. Is this some older drive that had the 8mb cache tacked onto it? Where can I see a review of the drive? I thought I was getting the DiamondMaxPro 9 when I bought it but now I don't know how good this drive that I got is.
